9th Anniversary!!

Today is Kaz and my 9th anniversary!! We are staying up at Rainbow Beach with the kids, it's only 2 hours north of Caloundra and fantastic! We are in a lively 2 bedroom apartment only 200 meters from the beach!

Today we went down to the beach early at 7.30 for a swim and play then met a friend at 10 who taught us how to 4 wheel drive across sand! We went out to Double Island Point which is only accessible via 4WD across sand and set up there for the day! There are big sand dunes which the kids loved, awesome blue water with a fantastic rolling wave perfect for surfing!

Kaz caught the most amazing wave of her life! She was sitting out there and all of a sudden saw a couple of fish were jumping out of the water, then there were about 8 dolphins in the water around her chasing fish and swimming under her surfboard! She caught a wave and then two Dolphins were surfing the wave with her too! The wave went for ages and it was just magical!!

We then went for a drive with Fraser along a different part of the beach over more sand! It was a bit scary but got the adrenaline going!!

A fantastic day!!
