Kim

This morning I was up and on the road before Sparrow fart; off to the ANZAC Blipmeet in Wanaka. A special day in Australia and New Zealand where we remember our Soldiers who feel at Gallipoli and other wars. Today was also another special day where we had our own ANZAC Blipmeet with Walking Wombat and Snowy. Walking Wombat loves Snowy's fantastic garden and made a pilgrimage to the east island of Australia and brought with her some other wonderful Australian and English Blippers. I had the honour of having Bacon and Eggs with the Boss,Bosses and TussockTales and then worked it off with a walk up Mount Iron with Gilsey,Wippasnappa,The Boss who gave some master classes on the way Mrs Wippasnappa, Mr Gillsey and Tussock; finished off with a lovely celebratory Lemon cake and a drink in a Cafe. I was down at the water front where Kim who is from North Africa was watching, Wanakas Global Children having some fun walking Slack lines. Kim was happy to allow me to make a portrait of him. Then it was off to lunch at Snowy's place where all the blippers were and what a wonderful lunch Snowy put on. Walking Wombat  and Snowy gave speeches and an Australian Patriotic Poem. I was given so many hugs to take back home to MrsPuff,it has left me with tears in my eyes. In the true Spirit of Blip and ANZAC Day Advance Australia Fair, God Defend New Zealand and God Save the Queen were proudly sung by those countries representatives. Thank you for the wonderful day.
