Someones Son

This afternoon as I was leaving Geraldine, I passed the Cenotaph and had to stop and have a look at this. Each cross Bears the Serial Number Rank and name of each Soldier who's life was taken in action. Each name belongs to someones Son; a sight like this hits home and stops you in your tracks as this is a significant loss from a small community and there are so many more like this throughout New Zealand and Australia. Once again the ANZAC legend is strong and united as we together will teach Iraqi troops to fight for their own freedom.
