Red, White and Blue
Master Pink's school had a day off wearing their uniforms today, and wore red, white and blue clothes to celebrate the start of the Jubilee weekend. Miss Pink's pre-school joined in with the fun too. Pictured are the mini pinks and my God-son's all ready for their patriotic day.
Master Pink had his sharing assembly today and it was absolutely fantastic. The class shared what they had learnt about the royal family and particularly the Queen by pretending to have the Queen visit them at school. We all sang the national anthem and the children made cocktails, crowns and performed a dance for the "Queen". It was funny and entertaining and absolutely too cute.
Master Pink came home very proudly with his Royal plate that he had designed, a unionflag tuckbox from the school cook and canteen staff containing a cake and crown biscuit, and a beautiful jubilee mug from the PTA.
Tomorrow we are going to the jubilee family picnic in the village. It's going to be a fun weekend. :)
