Anyone for ball?
Eeeeh but I slept well. I vaguely heard L heading back home at 7ish then woke again at 9.15am. My gadget told me I'd had six and a half hours of deep sleep. Bliss.
After some lazing around first thing, I spent the morning changing beds and sorting through some more stuff... books, pictures, papers and nick nacks after the clear out in the small bedroom. Most satisfying. I'll need to do a few charity shop and tip runs to get rid if it and some more sorting tomorrow.
I am in Edgcott tonight as I'm babysitting this little mite while C and S are at a fancy dress party. The theme is Best of British and they've gone as Biggles and his Land Girl. Very fetching they looked too. I got to have a lovely play with Teddy outside this afternoon kicking his sponge football around and playing with stones. We had a marvellous time. I got some good mini videos and we even stopped and kept quiet to listen to the wren singing away... the joy of being in the heart of the country. His current bedtime babygro is the gorgeous airplane one I got him for Christmas. It's C's fave apparently.
I'm having a solitary quiet night relaxing with Classic fm and a magazine (there's no telly!) in their lovely newly renovated home, enjoying the change and the peace and quiet. They really have done well with this place. So far Teddy hasn't stirred. Fingers crossed!
I hope I sleep well in their spare room which I helped clean on Wednesday and have donated some old curtains for.
