Feels like home
Day 2 of our 4 day trip to London.
Most of the girls went off to the London Dungeon and shopping today while I had the lads and remaining girls with me.
We started with the Science Museum.
It was good and there were lots of interactive things to do.
It doesn't take a huge amount of time to go round and there is no queuing to get in.
For me, however, it just lacked the WOW of the Natural History Museum that we visited last year.
After a bite of lunch we headed off to The Olympic Park.
It feels just like home, all the great memories of 2012 came flooding back (as if they have ever left me?)
The layout has changed a bit and the Olympic Stadium is undergoing work to turn it into the new home of West Ham United.
I don't know what they will call it but for me it will always be The Olympic Stadium.
We have had a really great day together, me and the students.
They are getting on absolutely brilliantly together and we have laughed all day.
A good night's sleep now ahead of a busy day tomorrow.
Meanwhile back home Afc Fylde narrowly missed out on winning the league title today. They needed to win, which they did.
They also needed Barrow to draw or lose. With them 3-0 up I conceded they would win the title. However, their opponents, Lowestoft, fought back to a final score of 3-2.
The play offs it will be now so we go again on Wednesday.
