Room with a view

As part of my mother's 95th birthday I am taking her on a road trip this weekend to visit elderly relatives and school friends. A wet dreich start in East Lothian was followed by a glorious sunny drive to Broughty Ferry for lunch. Then a trip up the A9 for shopping, back along the shores of Loch Tay to Lochearnhead for the night.

Her room and the restaurant looked out onto this view. Behind glass it looked lovely. Outside the air had a bite to it. At least no midgies.
