Iron Wheels

I spent a large part of today taking photos for the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal Trust at the Seven Locks (Locks 8-14).  I got lots of shots that they will use to update their “Plan your Trip” web page.  At several of the locks, the iron mechanisms for opening and closing the gates still remain.  I am a sucker for rust and got quite sidetracked by these and a few other wonderful rust specimens. 

I have tried out the extra photo feature today and I think it is a welcome addition, now that we no longer have the blipfolio.
