Friday: Caught In The Rain

It was a very rainy day here today........

I'll tell you one thing that I really like here.  It is not a heavy drinking culture at all.  I don't mean that in a judgemental way at all, given that I like a drink as much as the next person, but it is very common here to go out in the evening and to see young people, in their twenties,  just sitting and having coffee.  It is nice to think that socialising here is not all about alcohol.

We are off on a bijou holiday tomorrow.  Blippage will depend on wireless connections.  How fortuitous that I recently bought K. an ipad for her birthday.  Snicker, snicker!!
