Sunshine And Blossom

A sunny day but with a cool wind. Looks like there was quite a bit of rain overnight.

Washing out on the line this morning and then out for our walk - we went up the old layby and across to Clifford. 

The cherry trees are coming out into blossom now - and so I took a few shots in a couple of places.

I liked this one with the deep blue sky and the sandstone wall and building behind.

The building is a block of flats - built on the site of the old Northways Residential School  (called a borstal in old money, I think). This closed in 1997 and lay empty for a few years until the council sold the site for redevelopment.
