Appealing

To Littleborough Cricket Club to watch them play Norden in the Central Lancashire League. This was my first attempt at photographing cricket with a DSLR and long lens, so I was pleased to get shots of:

someone being bowled
a fielder losing his cap
a run-out
"chin music"
a catch about to be dropped at first slip

all of which generated huge excitement in the crowd.

The appeal was turned down by the phlegmatic umpire.
