Mono Monday - Fire: "Yul save plenty."

On a day of errands in Manchester, I felt sure I would find some reference to fire or fires. Sure enough, this place was the first I encountered.  I love the signs and promises "etcetera, etcetera, etcetera." I am mystified by "electric suites complete with fire."

As alternatives I could have gone for shadows cast by strong sunlight, which is of course fire. Or a sign about a sprinkler system,  being a fire suppressant.

There were also, not very fiery, demonstrators camping near the Town Hall, with no sign whatsoever as to what it is they are protesting for or against, which seems a missed opportunity somehow. (PS now I know.)

And then there was a couple, engaged in a deep and meaningful conversation, near the Bridgewater Hall, with some of those smouldering tubes of tobacco that used to be fashionable.
