Final Rear End of the Week...

...A trip on a fairly dull afternoon to a local Nature Reserve resulted only in this one! Though, if we had sound recordings on blip I could have given you the 'pieces of eight' song of a cetti's warbler, which was tantalisingly close, but not even glimpsed.

We had already had a plentiful sufficiency of excitement today, with the London Marathon! Hearty congratulations to all who completed the course. 
Especial congratulations to Our Own, who completed in less than 2 hrs 50 mins (you know who you are!) you gave us a very emotional morning, we are so delighted for you (not to say proud), you deserve every bit of success. 
And breathe!
