Speke Hall

Busy all morning and early afternoon on the nursery but we managed a quick dash for a walk around Speke Hall on the edge of Liverpool by the bank of the River Mersey.A Tudor manor house which is over 400 years old and well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Well the event of the day has been four new kittens on the yard this morning.Only hours old with their eyes still shut. One died and we have ended up with three in the back kitchen being hand reared and the girls will take it in turn to feed them through the night with me doing the early morning shift. How do I get involved with all this nonsense.

The black and whites were taken on an infrared converted camera. As can be seen in the extra pictures we can't resist a quick look into someone else's glasshouse.

Sunny but cold today.Wind from the NW.Possibly down to 3C  tonight.
