THE TREE AND THE BLIPPERS......

..... that tree had an enormous attraction at sunup this morning... it was a STUNNING sunrise, absolutely still and as the crowds arrived - yes crowds!!!

Not only the Blippers (l to r) nininex, rainie, newcastle downunder, and myself, BUT at least thirty others from all points of the globe. This damn tree would have to be the most photographed natural item in the southern hemisphere if not the world. ... ha ha!

Anyway, we had a magnificent gathering and time here in Wanaka, and this would be a great finish to the meet.

Decided to add this as my blip today, as it speaks plenty about the absolute genuine enjoyment in meeting like this. Of course that tree is there and have added another shot I took.

After breaky I caught up with travellingkiwi and she showed us around another majestic collection of her blipping spots... brilliant and thanks.

A long day of fun, and desperate for some snooze..... we are off to Dunedin tomorrow.
