LOCAL HERO WINS AGAIN....

... probably as predicted - Olympic Gold Medallist local girl Jessica Fox took out the Gold medal today in the Under 23 Canoe (C1) Slalom event at the 2014 International Championships, held over the weekend at the Penrith White Water Stadium .

It was a dull day, but certainly did not dampen Jessica's concentration.

Her sponsor RED BULL came out to play today as well, and was handing out the "magic" potion!!!

Second place was Monika Jancova from Czech, and was 18.81 seconds behind, so as you can see Jessica did well - and went through without penalty.

She was quite emotional after the race whilst being interviewed., but my candid shot of the day would have to be here, thanking her Team Official.

So, all in all a very good day for Australia, particularly when we also took out the International Canoe teams first place.. Like the crowd reflection in it as well!!
