Life goes on (Mono Monday -Fire-)

Okay, so like after a glorious morning of kite-flying and generally living in Marin, we crossed the bridge and tripped down to the Marina for some mindless people watching.

Halfway around the world, in Katmandu, the 'people watching' was totally different. Our prayers are with you, as yours were with us in 1989.

The mono Monday challenge today is "fire", a fact not lost on me, as walking about the Marina, She reminded me of the devastation that occurred thanks, in large part to fire.

(The fact that this part of the city was primarily built on landfill did not go unmentioned as well)

Leaving the Marina, we ventured out to the Mission, where we encountered a family cookout. The above photo is from same.

Remember the people in Nepal, they will appreciate it I'm sure, we did in '89
