Today I am mostly feeling sorry for myself! I have a stinker of a cold and struggled to breathe all night and all day.

After a tortuous journey I met my bird group at the nightingale place.We caught a couple of glimpses of a bird but it seems the site isn't being used by them so much as it has been previously.

On the way home I popped into a nature reserve I often visit and was very pleased to see some common terns - very pretty and elegant birds.
