Good things about today ...

I went to visit mum - and left Maisie in the van for a while. When I arrived, mum was sitting at one of two tables involved in a game of dominoes! I was amazed - she needed a great deal of help, but seemed to be having fun.

When they'd finished I joined her at the table and gave her a very basic manicure. It was a nice way to spend time with her without worrying about the surreal monologues which often happen.

Also good - Maisie walked pretty much to heel all the way to the vet - I hadn't asked her to so was very surprised - there was even eye contact (this good behaviour didn't last all day, of course!)

Bad things about today


Maisie has wee-ed four times indoors - one time in the care home dining room - ooops.
