Moin, moin
North German greeting for "Good morning" but actually used all day long. My being up and photographing before 7:00am is as rare as hearing the greeting being used in Bavaria.
Ordered a load of wood pellets (6 tons = 3000 liters oil) for our central heating. A comparison of wood vs oil is depressing just at the moment with very low oil and high wood prices. Certainly doesn't make economical sense this time but no doubt oil will get expensive again and wood prices might fall after recent storm Niklas. Still makes environmental sense to me (although I was criticised last year for murdering people with the fine ash dust that is ejected out the chimney.)
We have an excellent supplier who usually does a good price but above all has a super service. The drivers always come promptly in fact always early, so although they had made out 7:30 - 8:00, the truck arrived at 7:15 and had left the property before 8:00.
The horses have just spent the first night out on our own fields. They seem to enjoy it and it's good to see them lying down and enjoying the sunshine. The Blip is of our shagya arab gelding, Sultan.
Then got a call from Memmingen to say they could now do the blood test postponed yesterday. So dashed off to meet the 11:00am deadline-
Test was done quickly and i was presented with a shop cash register receipt with lots of symbols and numbers. Will be interesting to see what the urologist interprets out of the results. I did try checking a few numbers on the web but didn't get too far - it is seemingly as much as an art as a science.
