JUMPING JUPITER......

... a yellow eyed penguin!!!

We arrived at Kaka Point after spending the morning checking the sights of Dunedin. Unfortunately cut short with a storm or three, so headed south.

My pic from there you were thinking would be one of their renowned buildings... nope, (although did get the buildings) have a look in the extra pics, caught a street shot of the coolest  mo have ever seen! What do you think Trish??

On arrival here the proprietor of the Motel offered a trip to find one of these wonderful penguins, so took him up on it, and sure enough as he predicted we were positioned in the hide by 4:30pm and in they started with about 14 coming in after their day in the ocean. Liked this one having a jump over the rocks.

We then went up to the Nugget Point  lighthouse, and just in time for the magic of a sunset sky. It had been in and out of rain and cloud filled skies all afternoon with massive wind, but while we were out just wind so very lucky to get this.

Just amazing colours, so have a look in the extras, just hope they upload internet ....sloooooow!
