WET WET WET....

.... means a waterfall full of water!!!

As mentioned yesterday today was the day for "the falls"!! 
After massive wind and rain here last night it has continued through the day. The sort of day when on holiday you would curl up in front of the fire with a good book.
 
But, being our last day on this fantastic Blip meet and holiday here in New Zealand and on my "bucket list " prior coming was to visit the Catlins area in the South East, and have a shot of the Purakaunui Falls!
 
Off we headed with the wipers flashing and it lasted all day. But, of course an intrepid Blipper must fill the "bucket list" whatever the conditions!!!
 
Here they be, what a majestic sight with all the rain they were "throbbing"... and must admit a real chore to get a shot and keep the lens clear.
 
Just means will have to revisit on another clear day.... lol!!
 
One consolation with being a rotten day all the "normal" tourists and those Beijing camera club members  were in front of that fire I mentioned, so had no problems getting a position for a shot.
 
Under conditions trut I have done them justice for you to enjoy.
 
 We are off to Queenstown in the morning to fly back home so see you on the other side. We have really appreciated the tremendous friendship shown from the NZ Blippers, it has been awesome meeting and talking about their lives and sharing pics etc. Thankyou.
 
 Enjoy, and have a look in LARGE also went back to see if I could find some more yellow eyed penguins, nothing, but did find a sea lion so will put that up from home.
 
Really appreciate you looking and commenting while we have been away, sorry have not reciprocated, but will get to catch up once home.
