Beauty

Busy day, tram riding, and lots of walking, but the highlight had to be The Blue Mosque. Stunning doesn't begin to describe it as you walk in (my main photo is part of the ceiling). Also the gardens around here - fantastic displays of tulips, sadly just past their best, fountains, and lots of parakeets and storks in the trees. There is even a "carpet of tulips" in the design of an ancient Turkish pattern (shown on the extra photos). Topped of by a wonderful meal this evening. We will sleep well! The other extra photos are the Haghia Sophia at night and my bedside lamp!
