Underground, overground and on the water...

Trip to a lovely mosque near the spice market this morning with very pretty tiles (see extra photos). Quick look around the spice market itself - mental note to return later for lokum and teas. Then onto water for a 2 hour Bosphorus cruise, and after a quick storm the sun arrived again. Back to Sultanahmet and the Basilica Cistern which is my main picture - wow! Then back down to the river for mackerel sandwiches for the men (corn on the cob for my friend and I) then spent a fortune on lokum, tea and spices! Out for dinner again now. The hotel does a fabulous breakfast and an afternoon tea, so feel to be eating all the time!
