Cromarty Firth

Spent the morning trying to obliterate any thoughts or comments about, or references to the dreaded election. I managed really well, I turned off the TV, which Tom seems to be glued to at the moment and then went out to walk the dogs in isolation. They were too busy ball chasing, sniffing and swimming to mention it so by lunch time I was feeling much more relaxed.

This afternoon we visited some friends, it was the husband's birthday, guess what the main topic of conversation was, I am now very grumpy and irritable again.
