CENTAUREA CYANUS

We have quite a lot of these in our garden, and I don't think I have ever looked closely at them before, but they are quite beautiful.

Centaurea cyanus, commonly known as cornflower or bachelor's button, is an annual flower that never fails to come up in our garden and delights us, along with the forget-me-nots, every spring.

Today has not been a good day, so tomorrow can only get better!

Apologies for not responding to your lovely comments yesterday.  I had an early night and slept for over 12 hours, so must have needed it.
