Sunshine and Showers

Thank you for your very much appreciated kind comments and stars for yesterday's poppy. 
Obviously we headed in the wrong direction today when we went to the nature reserve.  There was very little in birdlife to be seen although I thought  I heard a cuckoo in the distance.  We took a few shots of the dramatic sky and the shimmering lighting on the lake and came home before the downpour. April showers!
