The Old Bridge by the Mill

Some pretty villages deserve  by-pass and this is one of them.  This bridge was once on the main road between Peterborough and Leicester and as we stood on the new bridge the huge lorries, buses, and all manner of other vehicles raced by.  Village life continued at a slower pace with only the sound of the sheep and lambs to disturb the peace.
