The Moon is Escaping!
This photo taken from the living room window was actually a joint effort!
Mom hung onto my waistband to make sure I didn't fall out of the window while taking it, although I have to say she was engrossed in Desperate Housewives at the time so the hanging on was a bit half hearted. That would have been an interesting blip if I had been able to take a picture while hurtling towards the flower beds below! However, as I have already posted a close-up plant picture on here perhaps that would have been a bit tedious. Yes, I should have gone downstairs and outside, but I liked the angle in this upside-down house where the bedrooms are downstairs and the living room is upstairs.
Anyway, I did a moon just over a week ago - that sounds bad! - but this is the moon from the living room in Ayrshire rather than a bench outside a pub in Warwickshire. You need to use your imagination a bit here, but to me the moon looks a bit misshapen, as if it's been struggling to escape the clutches of the tree... Off out for a moon dance perhaps?
A marvellous night for a moondance..
