Perth Kilt Run

There was no chance of the Jubilee going uncelebrated in Perth this weekend - HRH did give us city status this year, after all.

My sister was taking part with Perthshire Brass entertaining the public on the North Inch today as part of the Jubilee celebrations. In addition to the bands, dancers and a flyover, the first official Perth Kilt Run took place. Over a thousand folk donned their kilts to run between 100m and 8km and attempt to break a world record. They didn't quite make it but it was quite a sight to see. It was lovely to see some people running for LoveOliver.
