When good bands go bad...

It's been a busy few days with this and that. Just back now from one of our brass band performances. Down in Courtmacsherry, they along with Kinsale and Cobh are having a lot of events this weekend and the next few days to remember the Lusitania, which was sunk by a U-boat near here, 100 years ago next Thursday with over 1,000 lives lost. The gig was meant to be outdoors with evening breezes and wandering about. But the weather turned awful today and it was on in the community hall, where the kids were all trapped for a bunch of worthy speeches. Not surprised they began to amuse themselves.
