Green finches

I have been trying to get a shot of the green finches for weeks but they are especially timid whenI am out in the garden.

Today we have been painting the kitchen with the patio doors open and there they were on the feeder. So I grabbed Robin's camera which had the 300mm lens on and caught some action. I did get a nice shot of one sitting on top of the feeder but I have gone for this moment when one green finch chased another away.
