Hunkered Down

Back down to earth with a crash today.

All my chickens have been eaten by a fox! I'd had them a long time and they gave us the most delicious blue eggs ever! The electrics too, in the house have gone awry and we can now not get boiling water!! Very annoying to say the least.

Trotted round the garden which had changed dramatically over the last weeks and found the most perfect orange tip female just sitting there, hunkered down in the chilly wind. She looked cold ......... I was cold!! Not quite what I 'd been used to recently!

However on a good note the dogs were so pleased to see us and we them. Each one is stuck to my feet like glue  at the moment!!
