Saligo Bay

We've had a hugely enjoyable day today. A slowish start, as we needed to recover from yesterday's marathon journey, but we got going just before midday and drove to Bowmore for provisions.

Then we headed to Machir Bay for a breezy 6 mile walk, eating our packed lunch en route and collecting flotsam and jetsam. There are lambs everywhere at the moment, and highland cows... and we saw a hare!

Then we visited this beautiful place: Saligo Bay, before driving over to Port Charlotte for an ale on the way home. Islay is just stunning.
