Sanaigmore, Islay

Today we embarked on an odyssey around the Rinns peninsula: Portnahaven, Frenchman's Rocks; the stone circle and standing stones, Kilchiaran church and beach, and finally Sanaigmore bay, where the sun came out. Along the way we saw seals and hares, gannets, oystercatchers and plovers, Eiderduck and sand martins. Dinner at the Port Charlotte Hotel beckons...
