Stark or Sweet

I  took pictures today of our picking strawberries at a "pick your own" farm, but I kept returning to the starkness of this photo, hopefully tempered by the roses on the left.  This is at a small shopping mall, and I think the lady was returning to her job after smoking on the sidewalk.  I think large accents the effect.
