Jubilee Street Party...

Today our Church held a street party and it was amazing fun! About 300+ people turned up. The weather was good till 4.15 when it started to rain. We were finishing at 4.30 so that wasn't a probem. Everybody helped clear up which was great. Many weeks of planning went into this and it was worth it. People came out of their flats and mingled with each other. We had a live Jazz group who were excellent, face painting, balloon man, childrens games, bouncy castle, 50's dancing and whats more all was free due some amazing sponsorship from some business in the area. A wonderful day!
