However, the Gods intervened and Chris lived another ten fruitful years when every single day was appreciated in his family life, his work life and in his social life. Despite the storm clouds and downpours there was no room to park near the church, no church seats vacant to rest a weary body, no lack of camogie players proud to honour guard their father figure. Chris, a gentleman (late of Cashel and later Lucan Sarsfields) and a gentle man may you rest in peace...Ar dheis Dé go raibh d'anam.....just saying..
