It's ironic that the RNLI fundraiser was washed out today by thundery downpours. The main event, the tug of war between businesses in the town, was postponed due to the unsafe slippery conditions. There was the occasional break in the clouds today but it seemed more winter than the summer weather hoped for....just saying
