Mr Ovens' did good

I'd always registered the name of the business as William Owens.  No matter that I can't read, he can see a decent piece of rib roast from 100 paces and this was right up there with the best of them.

We had planned a road trip for today, but it was tipping down when we arose and the idea of lighting the fire and having a long lunch seemed like the better option, especially as the weather tomorrow looks much more conducive to castle viewing.

It brightened up later, so we took Kylie for a spin around the village where she encountered a very angry dog trying to scale an impossible (for it) fence.  Kylie just stared at the performance.  The outside world is a puzzle to her.

Now, time for cheese.
