Another Edinburgh try

Up early to get things ready for the soil coming for the veg patch. Had to chase the recycling man down the road in my slippers, as I didn’t get up early enough to put the bin out before they came. Had a look at the bike tyre and it had gone down again. Took it apart and refitted everything and pumped it up so hopefully it will be OK this time as I could find a leak in this inner tube either.
Soil came and the man was able to get the bags over the veg patch so all I had to do was slit the bottom of the bag to get the soil in the right place. Managed to do this with 4 of the 5 bags. The last bag he put next to the sleepers. Didn’t take long to shovel most of it in to the patch. The rest went into the flowerbed next to it. Could have done with another bag but I thought that 5 would be too many.
Spent the afternoon pottering around in the garden and doing stuff in the flat. J came back from London early so we had tea together before I headed out to watch Edinburgh play Zebre in the rugby league. Met up with the girls before hand As one of them couldn’t make it as she was running the London marathon on Sunday I kindly used her season ticket. Match was good for the first half and then a bit boring in the second as Edinburgh won 39-0, they did score 5 tries giving them a bonus point to move them up to a European cup place next year. Here is the 4th try being scored.

Came home after a beer in the hospitality suite. Good day all in all.
