The Winner

After a really horrible grey, wet start to the day the sun came out at lunch time and we sat in the garden watching all the insects. After watching several butterflies in pairs taking part in aerial ballets hubby (who is a non photographer) challenged me to see who could get a shot of a butterfly in flight. Never being one to turn down a challenge, I accepted, thinking I had had plenty of practice I felt moderately confident........Well, I shouldn't have counted my chickens as he won the challenge hands down with this shot.....I didn't even come close........so much for lining your shot up and trying to predict what might happen, it seems the best policy is just put the camera on auto and snap wildly in generally the right direction........humph   :-/
