Black and White

Icelandic sheep were some of the live stars of a fiber arts fair. Wool fleece from various breeds of sheep were available for spinners (or any of us non-spinners) to touch and perhaps buy. Dyed roving ready for spinning, natural roving ready for spinning and dyeing, or dyeing and then spinning, wool already spun into yarn that was waiting for the dyer, or yarn dyed, spun, and ready to be knit. Something for everyone!
In the center of all these possibilities was a circle of spinners, wheels whirling, creating beautiful yarns from bags of fluff!
A highlight of the day for me was meeting a woman that I worked with over 30 years ago!
