Sunny Sunday

We had a nice lie-in this morning. I was chilly, as T is always hot and likes all the windows open!

We had a lovely healthy breakfast - T certainly knows how to put on a spread! We were rather full so we had to have a nap to recover! In the afternoon we headed over to Southbank. Having been freezing earlier, when we opened the door we found it was a balmy 16 degrees and actually warm!

We had a wander to the Streets Of Spain Festival, but it was super busy. We got a Sangria and some of my favourite Pimientos del Padron, and T got something called a Barcelona Bomb. We wandered around in the sun for a bit. I had arranged last minute to meet K, one of my good friends, so T headed home.

K and I went to Las Iguanas, where we had these lovely non-alcoholic cocktails! I would have gone for a Mojito, but I'm a bit of a lightweight, and already felt a bit tipsy from the Sangria ;-) Plus K had had a heavy night last night and wasn't drinking :-)

We had a lovely catch up, and it was good to reconnect. She didn't come to Kingsday last week either.

I had planned to be good and go to the gym as I've missed a few sessions with the nonsense of the last couple of weeks, but in the end we walked and talked in the sunshine and I knew I'd never be back in time.

I stopped off to see Little B on my way home, and he ran around like a headless chicken, and tried not to scream :-) He was so happy to see me and I've missed him.

Then I went home and had a nice bath and talked to T on the phone. And surprisingly I felt quite happy to be home.

Thank goodness I don't have to go to work tomorrow!
