Native Bluebells

Our woods and gardens are under attack here in the UK... no not from some deadly pest or parasite, but by non-native species of wild flowers. This is a native bluebell - the flowers have frilly upturned ends to them and all of the flowers hang on the underside of an arched stem. It is slowly being overthrown by the invasive Spanish bluebell - a plant with a straight stem and flowers growing all around that stem. Do you know which variety you have growing in your garden or local wood. It may be the right time to find out. Save our native bluebells!
