Riding, again ...

After the rain and hail of yesterday, the last throes of winter, today dawned beautiful,. In fact it was a glorious summers day.

A great day to go riding, and for Hannah her first long ride. We went with Yeda and family to McLean's Island and enjoyed a lovely leisurely ride around the circuit, 10.5km. It was a real feat for little Hannah and she did well, only 2 crashes, and not too many cries of "I'm too tired". Must have been the bribery of jelly beans that helped ;-)

At the end it seemed she had energy to burn, the kids ran around and played soccer or rode their bikes more while the big kids (that's us) did more circuits. I practiced my aggressive position that I learned yesterday. Yeehaha, it was brilliant, I was throwing the bike around corners and loving it!

Needless to say, Hannah is absolutely buggered tonight, which translates into very grizzly. She deserves some slack I guess for the big effort!
