Really?

I like the sign. The food shall remain a mystery. This restaurant is owned by Guy Fieri, bleached blonde, spike haired, goatéed local boy made good and infant terrible  of the Food Network with his show Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. 

I never cared for him or his show, but word around here is that he's a nice guy in real life. All I know about him is that his that somebody stole his Lamborghini and hid it in a storage locker for years. He opened a restaurant in New York which was torn to pieces by the NY Times critics, but his Tex Wasabi and Johnny Garlic's restaurants seem to do well in Santa Rosa.

But I do like the sign.  It's in a block of restaurants with sidewalk tables, vaguely reminiscent of European cafès except for the fact they they are so eclectic, selling everything from Indian to Mexican, Chinese and, well, whatever one gets at Tex Wasabi. I was not tempted to deviate from my intended destination…Peet's coffee.
