Barred Owl (day 3 camping Lake K)

While Mr. and I were out on a trail in the State Park with our bikes today, we saw 2 of these owls! The first flew across in front of us and landed in a tree not far away. We were suprised to see one that active at 4:00 in the afternoon, but think maybe it tried to lure us away from the second one. I got some shots of the first, but it seemed to be getting upset, so we gathered our bikes to get back on the path, and happened to look up to see this one. We think it looked younger, but not sure. After more photos, we went on. we did see lots of birds this trip, and many seemed to be feeding young that had recently left the nest. (try viewing in LARGE)
