Candle in the wind

I looked out of the front window today and thought these looked like candles when they're just unfurling and, boy, was it windy today! It had settled down enough by late afternoon to be able to go out and take a photo.

I went to home group this morning for the first time in a number of weeks, and it went well. My Dad got prayed for :-). I spoke to him this afternoon and he seems quite upbeat about the operation tomorrow. I feel calm about it too, which I wasn't before.
