Remove shoes before entering

There are days when it rains and days when it pours. Today was neither, it was a day meant for leaving the shoes at home. Our 'hopefully soon to be customer' turned tour guide showed my colleague and I around Bangkok today in torrential rains. Although the temples require visitors to remove their shoes before entering, the rain may have had a hand in enforcing that rule. Most people just left their shoes at home or in the car (like we did).
